Position Overview Athens Gyros in Lowel is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, greeting customers, taking accurate orders, handling transactions, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, and provide fast, friendly service.

Order Processing:

Accurately enter dine-in and takeout orders into our POS system and manage cash, credit, and mobile payments.

Order Assembly:

Package meals, double-check order accuracy, and hand completed meals to guests with a smile.

Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized front-counter, register, and dining room area throughout your shift.

Teamwork:

Assist kitchen and prep staff during peak rushes to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Previous customer service, cashier, or food service experience is a plus, but no experience is required —we provide complete on-the-job training!

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Reliability:

Punctual, dependable work ethic with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
