Position Overview:

We are a fast-paced apparel and transfer printing company seeking a Graphic Artist / Customer Service Representative who can balance design, production art, and direct customer interaction. This is not a traditional "creative-only" role. The ideal candidate is someone who can work quickly, follow specs, communicate clearly (both in person and digitally), and keep projects moving through production without delays.

Responsibilities:

Create and prepare artwork for screen print, DTF, and apparel decoration Convert customer-provided artwork into print-ready files (vectoring, separations, cleanup) Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and via email to finalize artwork and orders Assist walk-in customers with design ideas, garment selection, and order details Enter and manage jobs in our system (orders, POs, RFQs) Work closely with production to ensure artwork prints correctly Collaborate with team members on screen print and embroidery orders to ensure successful execution Manage multiple jobs at once in a deadline-driven environment Maintain organized digital files and templates

Qualifications:

Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (this is critical) Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Ability to read and write English clearly and professionally Experience preparing artwork for screen printing or apparel decoration preferred Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

Preferred Experience:

1-3+ years in graphic design, production art, or related field Experience in screen printing, embroidery, or apparel decoration is a major plus Familiarity with embroidery file types, digitizing concepts, or working with embroidered logos

Requirements:

Must be able to work on-site in Pittsburg, KS Full-time or part-time availability during regular weekday business hours Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
