Cashier/Customer Service

Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through active listening and clear communication Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling additional items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain the cleanliness and organization of checkout areas, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed Support inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels throughout the store Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing helpful information promptly Engage in basic retail math to ensure accurate register balances at shift end Promote store promotions and sales initiatives to maximize sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies during daily operations Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Prior supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with bilingual abilities considered an asset Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to boost sales Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management in a grocery or retail store setting Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments Familiarity with grocery store operations is preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive attitude makes a difference!
