Job Description

Good client service depends on more than answering a question. It means understanding what a client needs, connecting them with the right colleague, and following through with a clear response. We are looking for a Client Services Assistant to help make every interaction with our New Orleans consulting office professional, organized, and straightforward. You will be a regular point of contact for clients by phone, email, and in person. Working alongside consultants and office colleagues, you will help arrange conversations, respond to routine requests, and make sure important messages reach the people who can act on them. This is a practical opportunity to build client communication and professional services experience in a full-time role with consistent Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. hours. What a good client experience looks like here A helpful first response. Answer incoming calls and emails, welcome scheduled visitors, and find out what each person needs before directing their request. Meetings that run smoothly. Arrange and confirm appointments, share joining or arrival details, and let colleagues know when clients are expected. Clear communication. Provide routine information, check details before replying, and refer questions requiring consulting advice to the appropriate team member. Follow-through. Keep a record of open requests, check on outstanding answers, and update clients when there is information to share. Accurate client records. Enter contact details and interaction notes into the team's systems so colleagues have a reliable record of previous conversations. Thoughtful support. Notice when a client needs additional help, remain composed when plans change, and raise concerns promptly with a manager. What you will bring You enjoy speaking with people and can make a professional conversation feel comfortable. You listen carefully, write clear emails, and know when to ask a colleague for guidance rather than guess. You are organized enough to manage several requests at once and careful with confidential information. Experience in a client-facing or office role is welcome, but consulting experience and a degree are not required. We will introduce you to our services, the team, and the systems used to manage client inquiries. As you become familiar with the work, you will have more opportunity to handle requests independently and develop your client service skills. If you would like to be the person clients can rely on for a clear response and a professional welcome, apply for the Client Services Assistant role with your current resume.
