Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you will assist customers with orders and questions while also supporting day-to-day office, inventory, purchasing, and website operations. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, and live chat. Answer incoming phone calls, assist customers with product questions, and provide excellent customer service. Enter customer orders accurately into the appropriate system and ensure all order information is complete. Process payments and charge customers for phone-in orders accurately and securely. Assist customers with order updates, product availability, pricing, and other order-related questions. Maintain accurate customer account information, transactions, and records using QuickBooks. Help maintain accurate inventory levels by reviewing stock quantities, identifying discrepancies, and updating inventory when needed. Assist with purchasing by helping monitor stock levels, preparing or entering purchase orders, and communicating inventory needs. Help ensure product pricing is accurate and up to date across company systems and the website. Assist with adding, updating, and maintaining product information on the company website, including pricing, availability, and other product details. Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing staff to help resolve inventory, order, or product availability issues. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling customer information, orders, payments, inventory, and pricing. Skills Strong customer service and communication skills, both over the phone and in writing. Excellent attention to detail, particularly when entering orders, processing payments, maintaining pricing, and updating inventory. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and order-management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Google Workspace, including Docs and Sheets. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting/order-processing software is preferred. Ability to accurately enter and maintain customer, order, inventory, and pricing information. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Previous customer service, office, administrative, order-entry, purchasing, inventory, or e-commerce experience is preferred. Ability to use office equipment including printers, scanners, and other basic computer hardware. Basic troubleshooting skills for common computer, printer, and office equipment issues.
