Job Description

Customer Service/Claims Coordinator StreetDelivery.com — Amesbury, MA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00
PM Starting Pay:
$23.00 per hour
Work Location:
In PersonAbout StreetDelivery StreetDelivery provides field inspection and task services for insurance companies throughout the country. Our office team coordinates assignments between insurance adjusters and our network of field professionals, making sure every claim contains the right information and gets to the right person.

We're a close-knit team and enjoy a relaxed, friendly work environment, but the work itself requires accuracy, organization, and accountability. Insurance claims can contain a lot of important details, and our field staff depend on us to make sure those details are correct before they head into the field. About the Position We're looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, comfortable on the phone, and exceptionally detail-oriented.

As a Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator, you'll help manage insurance inspection assignments from the time they enter our system through dispatch and completion. You'll communicate regularly with insurance adjusters and our field staff, review and set up incoming claims, resolve questions, and make sure inspectors have the information they need to successfully complete their assignments.

Our field professionals are the lifeblood of StreetDelivery. A major part of this role is supporting them—answering questions, providing clear information, resolving problems, and making their work in the field as efficient as possible.

This is a customer-service position, but it is also an operations position. Being personable matters. Being accurate matters just as much.
What You'll Do Set Up and Review Claims:
Enter, review, and edit incoming assignments carefully, making sure important claim information is complete and accurate before an assignment is dispatched.
Catch Missing Details:
Review addresses, contact information, adjuster instructions, loss details, inspection requirements, deadlines, attachments, and other claim-specific information. If something doesn't look right or information is missing, we expect you to notice it and take the next step to resolve it.
Support Field Staff:
Communicate directly with inspectors throughout the day and help them get the information, clarification, and support they need to complete assignments successfully.
Communicate With Adjusters:
Speak professionally and confidently with insurance adjusters by phone and email to obtain information, provide updates, and resolve assignment-related questions.
Dispatch Assignments:
Help assign claims to the appropriate field staff while considering location, workload, timing, and assignment requirements.
Solve Problems:
Handle the inevitable issues that come with field work—incorrect information, scheduling problems, difficult contacts, unclear instructions, and changing circumstances.
Manage Multiple Priorities:
Keep track of numerous assignments and conversations at the same time without allowing important details to fall through the cracks. Work as Part of the
Team:
Communicate openly with coworkers and help maintain the collaborative, supportive culture we've built at StreetDelivery. Who We're Looking For The right person for this position doesn't need previous insurance experience—we can teach you our industry and our systems.

What is harder to teach is attitude and attention to detail.

You'll likely do well here if you: Are genuinely comfortable talking to people on the phone. Come across as friendly, patient, professional, and approachable. Pay close attention to small details and take accuracy seriously. Are comfortable asking questions when something doesn't make sense. Don't simply enter information—you notice when information appears incorrect or incomplete. Can stay organized when several things need your attention at once. Take ownership of problems and follow through until they're resolved. Understand that supporting the people working in the field is a critical part of the job. Are comfortable learning new computer systems and working with multiple applications throughout the day. Enjoy working independently while still being part of a small team. Previous customer service, dispatch, administrative, insurance, claims, or office experience is helpful but not required.
