Job Description

Cambridge Interventional is seeking a Customer Service, Order Processing & Shipping/Receiving Specialist. Cambridge Interventional is a medical device manufacturer committed to advancing interventional cancer therapy through research, engineering, high-quality products, and physician support. Job Description This position owns the day-to-day customer order process from purchase order through shipment, invoicing, and collection, while also supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and highly proficient in QuickBooks. Key Responsibilities
  • Review incoming customer orders for accuracy and completeness and resolve discrepancies with customers.
  • Enter orders in QuickBooks, generate packing lists, and coordinate order fulfillment and shipment.
  • Prepare domestic and international shipments, including packing, labeling, shipping documents, tracking, and delivery follow-up.
  • Generate customer invoices in QuickBooks and verify pricing, shipping charges, taxes, and payment terms.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on past-due balances, assist with collections, and help resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and document receipt.
  • Maintain organized inventory and stockroom areas and assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with Company document-control and quality-system procedures.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Accounting to ensure accurate, timely customer service and order fulfillment. Minimum Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of relevant experience, or an associate degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • QuickBooks experience is required ; experience with order entry, invoicing, and accounts receivable strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service, order processing, shipping/receiving, accounts receivable, or a similar operational role.
  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus.
  • Medical-device, life-sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated-industry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Working Conditions
  • Position is based at the Company facility and includes both office/administrative and shipping/receiving responsibilities.
  • Regular computer and QuickBooks use is required.
