Job Description

We're growing and seeking a Medical Transportation Call Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be part of a company that values your skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient care. Position Summary The Call Intake Specialist (Customer Service Representative) is responsible for professional and courteous phone interaction with customers. You will promptly handle incoming calls, determine the appropriate level of care, resolve inquiries or issues, confirm pick-ups, and ensure that all customers feel valued. Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer calls and assess needs through specific questioning.
  • Resolve issues by researching, exploring solutions, implementing corrective actions, and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Call clients to confirm scheduled pick-ups and make adjustments or cancellations as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Medical terminology or experience in medical transportation preferred. Skills and Abilities
  • Detail-oriented and dependable.
  • Comfortable interacting with people and working in a team environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot situations, prioritize tasks, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public. Work Environment
  • Primarily sedentary office work, including using a computer, phone, and fax.

Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
