Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist in the Biddeford, ME area with Customer Service, A/R and Collections experience. This role involves Inside Sales Support and coordinating with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication and resolution of inquiries. Manage customer accounts and process orders, quotations, returns, and related transactions within the ERP system. Provide order status updates, lead times, delivery information, and support customer account needs, including accounts receivable and collections follow-up. Coordinate shipments and work with logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. Support sales activities by preparing quotations, tracking opportunities, maintaining customer records, and assisting with forecasting and reporting. Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, and shipping information in company systems. Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and resolve order, billing, or delivery issues. Assist with documentation, process improvements, and administrative support for sales and customer service operations.
Desired Background/Skills:
Two to three years of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, accounts receivable, collections, administrative support, or a related business operations role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience using ERP, CRM, or other business management systems. Experience with customer account management, invoicing, payment follow-up, collections activities, and account reconciliation preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient math and analytical skills for pricing, reconciliation, reporting, and financial transactions. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments and all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
Experience supporting business-to-business (B2B) customers in a manufacturing, distribution, service, or industrial environment. Familiarity with customer billing, collections, accounts receivable processes, and dispute resolution. Experience preparing quotations, estimates, pricing proposals, or sales documentation. Knowledge of CRM platforms, ERP systems, customer engagement tools, or quoting software. Experience with shipping, logistics, order fulfillment, or inventory-related processes. Understanding of international business transactions, trade documentation, or export-related requirements is a plus.
