About the Role Come join our team in our fast-paced service center! We work on a wide variety of vehicles, including light trucks, tractors, trailers, and excavation equipment. We are seeking a candidate with a technical mindset —someone who has been a technician or has previously held a service advisor role. The position will require clear communication of repair processes, diag time, solutions and reliable time frames. You will be one of the primary point people at our service counter. You will use your technical knowledge and communication skills to keep our shop running smoothly and ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities Customer & Vendor Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and in-person; manage communication with outside sales to prioritize needs.
Service Coordination:
Answer incoming calls and coordinate service work directly with customers and the Service Manager.
Work Orders & Estimates:
Create "smart" work orders based on customer feedback and build preferences; draft clear estimates from written notes provided by service leadership.
Scheduling & Tracking:
Track job progress using an online calendar; coordinate incoming parts orders to ensure technicians have exactly what they need.
Shop Support:
Move vehicles around the facility as needed for customers, technicians, and workflow efficiency.
Continuous Learning:
Continually expand your product knowledge and industry expertise.
The Right Candidate Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented:
Strong computer skills, comfortable navigating online scheduling software, and excellent spelling/grammar for written communications.
Adaptable & Energetic:
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, keeps a level head under pressure, and enjoys a variety of changing tasks throughout the day.
Customer-Focused:
Possesses great written and verbal customer service skills and enjoys interacting with a spirited customer base.
Reliable:
