Joe Ricci's Ordus Ford in Bad Axe, MI is currently looking for a quality Service Writer. Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not mandatory. This person must be organized, dependable, motivated, energetic, and team-oriented. Qualified applicants will be working in our Service Department full-time and will be responsible for:

• Being friendly, professional, prompt and efficient when working will all customers, both on the phone and in-person, at all times to meet customer service goals
• Using active listening (build trust, demonstrate concern, paraphrase and use nonverbal cues to show understanding, etc.) to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns
• Developing estimates by calculating cost of labor and parts
• Creating repair orders and communicating clearly to technicians
• Open, process, and review all repair orders for accuracy and completeness concerning parts, supplies, and labor
• Communicating vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers throughout the repair process
• Prioritizing services
• Using extreme caution when driving all vehicles
• Assisting management in any way necessary to ensure the highest satisfaction to our customers
• Be available to work five days a week.

Candidate must have the following:

• Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
