Job Description

Are you a night owl who enjoys helping people and likes a job with a little variety? We're looking for a dependable, friendly Night Auditor / Customer Service Representative to help keep our property running smoothly overnight. This isn't a position where you'll spend the entire shift doing the same thing. You'll welcome guests, manage reservations and payments, complete nightly audit responsibilities, assist with retail operations, and help make sure the property is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. What You'll Do Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service. Check guests in and out, issue room keys, and assist with reservations and questions. Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts, and balance your cash drawer. Complete nightly audit procedures, including reconciling transactions, posting room charges, balancing credit cards, and preparing reports. Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and property needs. Promote available packages, tickets, and property offerings. Assist with retail operations, including stocking merchandise, receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory, and processing purchases. Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and customers. Work independently and respond appropriately to guest needs and issues that arise during the overnight shift. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently, and genuinely enjoys providing great service. The right person can stay organized while balancing several responsibilities and understands that the little things can make a big difference in a guest's experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospitality, hotel, retail, or night audit experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including experience with word processing and spreadsheets. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly perform standing, walking, stocking, cleaning, and other physical duties associated with the position. Must comply with the Sault Tribe's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, which may include random drug testing. Native American preference applies. Why Join Us? If you enjoy meeting new people, taking ownership of your work, and having a shift where there's always something to do, this could be a great fit. You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests while helping keep overnight operations on track. Ready to join the team? We'd love to hear from you.
