Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM-5:15 PM (No Weekends) About the Opportunity We are seeking two friendly, customer-focused Member Service Representatives to join a growing credit union team. One opening is available in Comstock Park and one in Grandville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping people, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a professional financial environment. As a Member Service Representative, you will assist members with everyday banking transactions, answer account-related questions, and educate members on available credit union products and services. Candidates who thrive in a customer-facing role and enjoy building relationships will be successful in this position. Responsibilities Process member transactions accurately using the credit union's banking systems. Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other routine account transactions. Respond to member inquiries, concerns, and requests in a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented manner. Educate members on available credit union products and services. Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately throughout the workday. Process credit card advances, money orders, cashier's checks, and other member requests. Research and resolve member issues by partnering with internal departments. Provide support at other branch locations as needed. Participate in community events sponsored by the credit union. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications ? 1-3 years of customer service experience (face-to-face customer interaction preferred) ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ? Strong customer-first mentality with a willingness to go above and beyond for members ? Basic math and cash-handling abilities ? Basic computer proficiency ? Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills Preferred Qualifications ? Banking, credit union, or financial services experience ? Cash handling experience ?
