Job Description

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to work at our location in Dearborn, MI. The Benefits Coordinator functions as the lead for leave management processes and provides support for other benefit processes.
Compensation:
$60,000-68,000 Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(k) with
Employer Contribution, Long- and Short- Term Disability Tuition Reimbursement Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Benefits Coordinator:
Facilitates the leave management processes for Short Term Disability (STD), Family and Medical leaves (FMLA) and Long Term Disability (LTD) Claims processing and claims management Communicates leave updates with operations and human resources Utilizes leave management software to track leave data and leverage reporting Functions as primary contact for Aflac claims and reporting Validates and reconciles benefit deductions between benefit reporting and payroll system Assists employees with routine and complex benefit issues Manages "aging out" process for dependents Assists with managing retiree coverage Termination letters Payments process Vendor updates Maintains medical deductions rate updates for payroll and benefit vendors Updates and maintains various benefit communications tools Administers the "opt-out" program for medical Supports the Wellness program Provides administrative support as needed Provides reporting and data analysis utilizing multiple internal and external reporting tools Audits data to validate accuracy Develops and edits communications and forms Performs special projects as required Skills The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum three years of benefits experience Experience with leave management processes Knowledge of related compliance requirements Medical terminology a plus Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Able to present information to individuals and groups Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills Ability to proactively seek and implement process improvements Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to maintain confidentiality Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, Power Point Experience with employee databases and benefit platforms a plus
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
