Gaylord, MI Gill-Roy's Hardware is a family owned and operated hardware store company. Founded in Flint, MI in 1945, we have expanded to 42 stores across Michigan and one store in Georgia. Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred) Hardware knowledge or willingness to learn (Preferred) Cash handling or retail experience (Preferred) Small engine experience (Preferred) Responsibilities include: Assisting customers with projects and finding items in the store Putting away stock Inventory Filling propane Mixing paint Loading merchandise Cutting and loading lumber Maintaining a clean store; sweeping, mopping, cleaning, dusting and washing windows We are hiring enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team. We are hiring both cashiers and sales associates who are interested in keeping the store running efficiently and serving our customers and community. The successful candidates will be able to make change quickly, respond to customer inquiries and offer suggestions, stock merchandise and use their extensive product knowledge to make customers feel welcome and appreciated. We are looking for candidates with a passion for customer service, who can support a fast-paced environment, and who possess excellent cash handling skills and communication skills. Basic computer skills are encouraged. Experience in retail or hardware preferred but not required.
