Collision Advisor / Service Writer (Will Train the Right Person) XA Collision | Holland, MI This is not your typical body shop position. We're looking for someone to run the front of our collision shop - managing customers, estimates, and the entire repair experience from start to finish. If you have experience, great.

If you don't but you're sharp, organized, and great with people, we'll train you. What You'll Be Doing This role is part customer experience, part sales, part operations. Guide customers through the repair process from first contact to final delivery Write and manage repair estimates using Mitchell (we'll train you if needed) Communicate with insurance companies and handle approvals Keep jobs moving by coordinating with technicians and production Provide consistent updates so customers never feel "in the dark" Make sure every vehicle leaves with a great final experience This Role Matters This position plays a direct role in: Shop revenue Repair quality Customer experience You're not just answering phones or writing estimates, you're helping manage the entire repair process from start to finish. What We're Really Looking For You don't need to know collision but you do need to have this: Confident communication (you can talk to anyone) Organization (you don't drop the ball) Urgency (you move fast and take action) Problem-solving mindset Ability to handle pressure and difficult conversations Ownership (you take responsibility, not pass it off) This role is best suited for someone who likes being busy, making decisions, and taking ownership, not someone looking for a slow or repetitive day. Bonus Points If You Have Collision estimating experience (Mitchell, CCC, etc.) Automotive background Customer service, sales, or service advisor experience Experience managing multiple projects or workflows Pay Structure We believe in rewarding performance, not just time.
