Every repair starts with a conversation. Every customer update builds trust. Every organized repair order keeps the shop moving. What You'll Do No two days look exactly the same, but you can expect to: Welcome customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and exceptional customer service. Listen carefully and accurately document repair concerns for our technicians. Open, manage, and close repair orders. Prepare service estimates and communicate repair recommendations. Keep customers informed with repair updates and estimated completion times. Answer questions and ensure customers have a positive service experience. Occasionally process payments for non-contracted customers. Track tire inventory and assist with inventory organization. Monitor shop and spare vehicles to help keep operations running smoothly. Perform miscellaneous shop inspections and support daily shop operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer area. What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who: Enjoys helping customers and building positive relationships. Has exceptional organization and attention to detail. Can juggle multiple priorities without losing track of the details. Communicates clearly and professionally, both in person and over the phone. Is comfortable learning service processes and preparing repair estimates. Works well with technicians, customers, and other departments. Has solid computer skills and can quickly learn new systems. Takes pride in staying organized and following through. Bonus Points If You Have Experience working in a service department, dealership, fleet, or repair shop. Experience creating estimates or managing repair orders. Inventory or parts experience. Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, emergency vehicles, municipal equipment, or automotive service operations. ADA Requirements:
Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently. Occasional repetitive motion and grasping Occasional climbing to reach areas on equipment or racks. Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently. Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer. Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection.
