Responsibilities Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude, ensuring each caller feels valued and supported Conduct thorough assessments of patient symptoms or concerns by asking detailed questions and documenting responses accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Provide clear guidance on next steps based on established triage protocols, including scheduling appointments or directing callers to appropriate healthcare resources Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations while handling sensitive health information using secure computer systems Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and data entry tasks related to call logs and patient interactions Collaborate with healthcare providers and support teams to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on urgent cases Demonstrate strong phone etiquette, active listening skills, and effective communication to resolve client inquiries efficiently Requirements Proven experience in call center environments or healthcare support roles involving phone call management Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management systems) Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance processes, and healthcare protocols to accurately interpret patient needs Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail during data entry and documentation Customer service-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills to address client concerns effectively Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems, data entry accuracy, and phone communication best practices is highly desirable Join our team as a Phone Triage Specialist and be part of a vibrant organization dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare support.
