Customer Service Representative (Healthcare Call Center)

6-Month Contract-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join a growing healthcare call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer calls, answer questions regarding prior authorizations and healthcare benefits, and provide exceptional customer service while accurately documenting information across multiple systems. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with recent call center experience who are looking for long-term career growth in the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities Handle high-volume inbound customer service calls in a call center environment. Answer questions regarding prior authorizations, healthcare services, and general account inquiries. Accurately enter and update customer information in multiple systems. Conduct follow-up calls when necessary. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer information. Navigate multiple software applications simultaneously during customer interactions. Meet quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations. Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented customer service. Process and document interactions accurately and efficiently. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years. Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to type at least 30 words per minute. Strong computer navigation and data-entry skills. Ability to multitask across multiple systems while speaking with customers. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare, medical, pharmacy, insurance, or benefits-related customer service experience. Pharmacy Technician Certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Experience working with confidential or regulated information. Experience with CRM systems and data entry platforms. Schedule & TrainingTraining Schedule Monday-Friday 10:00 AM- 6:30 PM EST 4 weeks of paid training Successful completion of training is required.
