This position is responsible for:
Receiving orders from customers via EDI, e-mail, or customer websites. Daily review of customer requirements; provide accurate and prompt responses to customer order changes. Strong understanding of Contract Review and Freight Terms. Accurately processing orders in Plex ERP ensuring order entry is error free. Timely scheduling of orders to manufacturing. Timely scheduling of orders for shipment. Maintaining communication to customers regarding order status and shipment issues. Knowledge of customer specific requirements. Understanding the cost responsibility of his/her decisions on the company's goals. Proactively communicating with Materials and Manufacturing departments on order concerns. Prioritizing work independently. Monitoring and updating customer's portals. Investigating order constraints and logistic issues. Gathering evidence and enter disputes as appropriate. Monitoring Customer Scorecards and provide support for continuous improvement. Obsolescence procedures are completed accurately and timely. Conforms to IATF16949 and ISO instructions and procedures. On-Call one week per month
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in an Automotive Production Control/Customer Support Service role. Must have experience working with multiple Automotive OEMs & Tier Supplier Portals. Strong working knowledge of Ford DDL and Super G, GM Supply Power, FCA eSupplier Connect. Strong communication skills, ability to work well with teams and upper management. PLEX experience is extremely beneficial. Strong leadership and team skills and a high desire to excel. Strong computer skills. High School Diploma or GED minimum, Technical Degree or equivalent preferred.
