SERVICE WRITER

The right candidate will possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, be able to multitask, exhibit proficiency in time management and demonstrate exemplary attendance, punctuality and leadership. The ability to manage other duties while maintaining control over daily paperwork will help you excel in this position. The correct candidate will have ample computer skills and an extensive working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with pneumatic tools is not a requirement for this position. This is a full time position with benefits.

Schedule:

M-F 7:15am - 5:00pm and Every Other Saturday 7:15am - 12:15pm Responsibilities for the Service Writer include: Checking in, logging and labeling pneumatic tools for repair. This involves moving tools that weigh up to 90 pounds. Bridging the needs of the shipping and sales departments in regards to the service department. Creation, review and follow-up on repair quotes and the required bill of materials. Working directly with the mechanics in regarding to questions, problems, and parts requisitions. Monitor mechanics activity/progress through periodic service area inspections Maintain and oversee required daily paperwork.

Non-Required but helpful skills:

Experience with pneumatic tools.
