Job Description
Noble Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and collaborating across departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Founded in 1946, Noble Company, a subsidiary of FPC International, Inc., manufactures products and solutions for the tile, plumbing, heating and cooling, and fire sprinkler industries. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Spring Lake, Michigan. We're looking for someone who communicates well, is comfortable with technology, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team. What You'll Be Doing Enter and process customer orders, including order acknowledgments and invoicing Answer customer questions by phone and email regarding pricing, product availability, order status, shipping, and other order-related needs Research and resolve order, product, shipping, and delivery issues Work closely with production, shipping, and other internal teams to coordinate customer needs and resolve issues Assist with freight claims and communicate with customers and carriers as needed Create and maintain spreadsheets, work with data in Microsoft Excel, and maintain accurate customer account information and documentation Balance incoming calls, emails, order processing, and other daily responsibilities Participate in cross-training and provide backup support for other team members What We're Looking For 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong computer skills and the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for everyday business tasks Experience handling customer concerns and difficult conversations professionally Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Professional verbal and written communication skills Positive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to cross-train and support coworkers Proficient typing and 10-key skills High school diploma or GED Preferred Experience Experience support retail and/or big-box store customers Freight claim experience Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems, including Traverse or Salesforce Experience working with EDI systems, including Macola Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
