$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Corner Home Medical is seeking an experienced, patient‑focused Clinical Specialist to support patients with home respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and other durable medical equipment (DME). This role combines customer service , patient education , and respiratory equipment setup , making it ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and experience in the healthcare or home medical equipment industry. Support general customer service functions as needed within the branch. Instruct customers on CPAP/BiPAP setups , downloads, mask fittings, and troubleshooting. Assess patient needs and ensure proper equipment placement based on medical requirements. Discuss Medicare and insurance coverage requirements with patients, families, and physicians. Obtain verbal orders from physicians and verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations. Enter patient demographics, medical information, insurance details, and charges into computer systems (Brightree experience a plus). Implement changes in treatment plans as prescribed by physicians. Troubleshoot patient equipment issues and provide solutions. Schedule and complete follow‑up calls, assessments, and home visits for CPAP/BiPAP and other respiratory equipment. Document all patient interactions, findings, and follow‑up activities. Serve as a liaison between CHM, physicians, caregivers, and home care teams. Participate in process improvement projects and special assignments. Maintain punctual attendance and work assigned hours consistently. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of DME preferred. Brightree software experience desired (training available). Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Ability to make sound decisions and problem‑solve in a positive, professional manner. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines. Excellent computer and documentation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Motivated, dependable, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
