Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions efficiently and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Upsell products and suggest additional items to increase sales and meet store goals Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and ensuring customer satisfaction Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, product rotation, and basic retail math for pricing and stock levels Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for team support roles Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, pricing, and stock management Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions Willingness to learn about product demos, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career.
