Job Description

TJ Larson - State Farm Agent is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a full-time Customer Service Representative. This is first and foremost a customer service position . You'll work with our existing customers to answer questions, make policy changes, help with billing and claims questions, and make sure they receive the level of service they expect from our agency. As you learn the insurance business and grow in the role, you'll also have opportunities to conduct customer insurance reviews, identify gaps in coverage, and recommend additional products that may better protect our customers. This is not a prospecting or cold-calling position. Sales opportunities come primarily from conversations with customers we already serve. If you're someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of your work, we'd like to meet you.
Compensation Starting base salary:
$45,000+ , with higher starting compensation available based on experience and qualifications Additional commission opportunities for identifying and helping meet the insurance needs of our existing customers Typical additional commission opportunity of approximately $3,000-$8,000 per year Additional bonus and incentive opportunities, which can include trips Benefits & Perks Health insurance

with 3% employer match 13 paid holidays , including your birthday off Paid time off and sick leave Monday-Friday schedule — no weekends or late nights Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licensing paid for upfront by the agency Team-sponsored events, happy hours and other activities Opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership and management as you grow Long-term opportunity to pursue becoming a State Farm Agent for those interested in agency ownership What You'll Do Primary responsibilities Service existing customers by phone, text, email and in person Answer policy, coverage, billing and eligibility questions Process policy changes, transfers and other requests Assist with claim-related questions Follow up and resolve outstanding customer needs Maintain accurate customer records As you grow in the role Learn to conduct customer insurance reviews Identify coverage gaps and educate customers about options Recognize additional insurance needs through everyday customer conversations What We're Looking For You don't need to know everything about insurance on day one. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills and work ethic who is willing to learn.

You must be able to obtain a Minnesota Property & Casualty Insurance License and Life & Health Insurance License. The agency pays licensing costs upfront.
