Service Advisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking maintenance and repair services for their home on wheels. You will help guide clients through their service needs, ensuring an accurate and positive experience from start to finish. You will coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians, providing accurate service writing and acquiring necessary parts for repairs. Duties Understand and follow the established repair order process through to its satisfactory and timely completion, including effective scheduling and documentation Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their concerns and service needs Accurately transfer the customer's needs to the work order for efficient repair by the technicians Effectively work with the technicians to acquire all needed parts Update customers during their repair event Explain automotive diagnostics, recommended repairs, and maintenance options clearly and transparently Maintain detailed records of all service activities, customer interactions, and collect payments Assist in parts stocking and inventory duties Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Ability to accurately record and track communications and tasks Skilled in service writing to produce accurate invoices and reports Familiarity with computer and software system Ability to handle payment transactions responsibly and accurately Mechanical knowledge is not required Service Department hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pay will depend on experience.
