Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative, Personal and Commercial Lines, will administer all aspects of the Personal and Commercial Lines insurance policies, assist in the planning and development of information systems and data support of Personal and Commercial Lines insurance claims and policy management, and serve as a point of contact and liaison with internal and external constituents on Personal and Commercial Lines insurance policy and claims function.- Assist Producer and Marketing with applications for prospects.
- Assist in preparing correspondence to obtain loss runs from carriers if requested by either the Producer or Marketing.
- Bind account and issue binders immediately when given binding instructions and down payment from the Producer.
- Send instructions to carriers along with the down payment received from the Producer.
- Process premium invoices. Obtain quotes and set up premium financing if needed.
- Issue certificates of insurance, state filings, auto ID cards, and state posting notices.
- Mail all documentation to the insured along with any additional correspondence requested by the Producer. Responsible for ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate before being given to the insured, and that information is mailed out on time.
- Respond to all client, Producer, or carrier rep calls and e-mails within 4 hours.
- Oversee and manage the collection and maintenance of claims data and records. Input claims and send them to carriers.
- Monitor large loss activity for prospects and advise Producers of large audits/claims or endorsements.
- Review issues of certificates of insurance.
- Handle invoicing on agency-billed policies.
- Handle billing questions for insureds. Prepare past-due reports and advise the Producer of any down payments or installment payments that have not been received.
- Process requests for endorsements/claims and send them to carriers.
- Coordinate providing information to Producers, insureds, adjusters, and carriers. (e.g. verify coverage for insureds, print summaries of insurance, billing questions, process name changes, auto changes, etc.)
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Renewal Business
- Print out the future application, order loss run, MVR, etc. for Marketing or Producer on accounts they want to be remarketed. Provide the application and information to the Producer within 5 working days for review, and to make any changes/corrections or complete any application questions.
- Advise Producers on large audit, claim, and endorsement opportunities for prospective clients.
- Review issues of certificates of insurance.
- Handle invoicing on agency-billed policies.
- Handle billing questions for insureds' miscellaneous

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, or five or more years of relevant work experience, which includes Customer Service and/or sales of insurance services.
- Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position; or an equivalent combination of education and five or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in customer service and/or insurance sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer License required.
- Experience with AMS360 Account Management System required.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service, effective communication, and responsiveness.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
