Job Description

Licensed Insurance Service Associate Location:
Perham, MN Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Current Minnesota Property and Casualty Insurance License United Community Insurance is seeking a dependable, service-focused Licensed Insurance Service Associate to support our customers and insurance agents. This position serves as an important point of contact for current clients, providing professional assistance in person and over the phone while helping ensure policy information, payments, endorsements, and other service requests are processed accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and committed to providing customers with helpful and responsive service. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and through written communication while building strong customer relationships. Assist customers with policy changes, coverage questions, billing updates, payments, claims reporting, renewals, and other insurance service needs. Prepare insurance quotes, review policy documents and endorsements, maintain accurate customer records, and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory requirements. Partner with agents to support client retention, coordinate renewal reviews, and identify opportunities to meet customers' insurance needs. Support daily agency operations through administrative, marketing, and clerical activities that contribute to an efficient and professional customer experience. Required Qualifications Current and active Property and Casualty Insurance License in the State of Minnesota. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers in a variety of situations. Strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of customer service experience. Previous experience working in an insurance agency or insurance-related position. Why Join United Community Insurance?
