Advance Medical Equipment is a Veteran owned Durable Medical Equipment company that prioritizes it's people, with an intense focus on being the leader for providing medical supplies with compassion and urgency to the elderly and underserved. We are quicky growing, and needing a Customer Service Representative in our newly opened Woodbury location. The ideal candidate for this position needs to be self-motivated, knowledgeable of Google and Microsoft products, and have a history of providing unmatched customer service. Compensation includes hourly pay, 2 weeks of paid personal time off, paid time off for Federal Holidays, occasional overtime opportunities, and company sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefits.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Develops and maintains working knowledge of current Home Medical Equipment products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement Verify insurance benefits for both in-network and out-of-network policies Obtain and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations Bill Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies for services rendered using applicable HCPCS codes. Complies with all current government/state regulations and professional standards involving patient care and information intake, as well as all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols. Assists in collecting necessary billing documents for Prior Authorizations and equipment rentals. Ensures courteous and efficient service is provided to patients and referrals Performs other duties as requiredESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong customer service background Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products Independent and motivated learner Ability to type 40 WPM and perform typical office functions Education/Experience 1-2 Years of experience in customer service roles High School Diploma (Required) Employment is contingent upon drug screening and clean historyJob Type:
