Columbia Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m- 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m
- 4:00 p.
Pay:
$18.00- 20.00 per hour, depending on experience About the Position Minuteman Press
- Columbia is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to become an important part of our front-office team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service in our office. Answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly and professionally to customer emails. Monitor incoming customer requests and orders from multiple channels. Gather accurate information about customer projects and help ensure that job details are complete. Enter, maintain, and update customer and order information in our software systems. Maintain accurate customer accounts and records using CRM software. Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records. Communicate with customers regarding questions, project information, order status, and next steps. Follow up on open customer requests and help make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Coordinate with other team members to help move customer projects efficiently through the shop. Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming front-office environment. Learn our products, services, systems, and processes so you can become a knowledgeable resource for our customers. Look for opportunities to solve customer problems and help them find the right printing and marketing solutions. Take increasing ownership of the day-to-day customer service and front-office workflow as you become familiar with our business. Assist with other duties as needed to support the team and our customers. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable. Our customers and team need to know they can count on you to be here, be prepared, and follow through. Friendly and professional. You should enjoy working with people and helping customers feel welcome and valued. Organized and detail oriented. Printing projects involve many details, and accuracy matters. A strong communicator. You should be comfortable communicating clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, and by email. Comfortable with computers. You should be able to learn new software and confidently work with email, customer information, order-management systems, and CRM software. Able to manage multiple priorities. You may be helping a walk-in customer while monitoring emails, answering phones, and keeping track of several active requests. A problem solver. We value people who look for solutions rather than simply passing problems along. A team player. Our customer service and production teams work closely together, and good communication between departments is important. Eager to learn. You do not need to know the printing business when you start, but you should be interested in learning our products, services, processes, and customers. Someone who takes ownership. We want a person who notices what needs to be done, follows through, and takes pride in keeping customers and projects on track. Previous customer service, administrative, office, retail, or related experience is preferred. Printing or marketing industry experience is a plus but is not required.Compensation & Benefits Pay:
