Job Description

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service in a compassionate and supportive environment? The Pet Vet , a newly opened small animal veterinary clinic in Troy, Missouri, is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. If you love animals, enjoy interacting with clients, and want to be part of a friendly, low-stress clinic, we'd love to have you! Why The Pet Vet? No Weekends! We prioritize work-life balance, meaning you'll have your weekends free to relax, recharge, or spend time with loved ones.
Low-Stress Environment:
We aim to make every patient visit as calm and relaxed as possible. Our goal is to create a soothing, compassionate atmosphere for pets and owners alike.
Work-Life Balance:
We understand that life outside of work matters. Our clinic hours are designed to give you the time and space to enjoy your personal life while still making an impact in your professional role.
Small, Friendly Team:
As a new practice, we are creating a close-knit team that works together, supports one another, and shares a commitment to the highest standards of care.
What We're Looking For:
Customer service experience in any setting is required (preferably in a veterinary or healthcare environment).
Excellent communication skills:
You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, so being friendly, professional, and clear is essential.
Computer confidence:
Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems. You should be able to navigate computer programs confidently, enter information accurately, manage electronic records, and learn new technology with minimal assistance.
Organized and detail-oriented:
Handling appointments, managing client inquiries, and keeping accurate records all require attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proactive and self-motivated:
We are looking for someone who takes initiative and can stay productive without constant direction or reminders. You should be able to recognize what needs to be done, prioritize tasks, and jump in to help wherever needed.
Able to stay busy:
Our team members are expected to make productive use of their time, even during slower periods. This includes noticing tasks that need attention, keeping the reception area organized, assisting with inventory and supplies, and looking for ways to support the team.
Empathy and compassion:
Our clients come to us with their beloved pets, so a caring, compassionate attitude is a must.
Team player:
We value collaboration and a supportive, positive work culture, and we're looking for someone who thrives in this environment.
Job Duties:
Answer client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. Schedule appointments, including follow-ups, and ensure smooth coordination of daily clinic operations. Manage patient records and client information, ensuring all details are accurately entered into our system. Assist clients with any questions about services, pricing, and clinic policies. Help manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area. Assist in processing payments and handling billing inquiries. Provide clients with information about the clinic's services, including preventative care and treatment options. If you're an empathetic, organized individual with a passion for customer service and a love for animals, we'd love to meet you!
