Pirate's Cove is an established quick service restaurant in Pass Christian, MS specializing in Po-Boys. Pirate's Cove is looking for DAYTIME Front of House Staff. Duties include taking orders, issuing change, gathering orders and serving customers, fulfilling drink and ice cream orders, restocking condiments and paper goods. Wiping tables, sweeping flooring, cleaning spills in the dining room, window cleaning and other opening duties. Customer service skills are a must. Toast POS system experience a plus. Full time and part time positions are available. Wage is hourly with total daily tips divided by hours worked. Room for advancement is available. Applicants will be required to fill out an application and have an in-person interview within 72 hours of submitting application.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Work as a team member with all other staff.
• Greet customers.
• Take orders.
• Repeat orders to customers in clear and understood English.
• Answer phone and key in orders.
• Accurately count change and issue receipts.
• Communicate with managers and kitchen staff.
• Assemble order and serve customers.
• Keep front house clean, neat and organized.
• Keep condiments stocked and replenished.
• Make drink orders.
• Make teas and other drink recipes.
• Scoop ice cream and make malts and milkshakes.
• Gain an understanding of menu items along with special requests.
• Issue and receive customer gift cards.
• Prepare front of house for next shift.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Responsible for a balanced cash drawer as shift closing.
