Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing any questions or special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle retail sales transactions smoothly while processing cash and card payments with accuracy using POS systems. Manage food handling responsibilities by following proper procedures for food safety and hygiene. Support beverage service and drink presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties related to food preparation and cleaning tasks effectively.
