Job Description
Customer Care Representative I Position Summary The Customer Care Representative I is responsible for accurate and timely order entry, basic customer support, and maintaining data integrity across systems. This role serves as the foundation of the Customer Care function, ensuring every order and customer interaction is handled efficiently, consistently, and with attention to detail. Customer Care I supports both customers and internal teams by executing core processes, providing clear communication, and escalating more complex needs as appropriate. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within established timelines
- Enter and maintain order details, customer information, and updates in Infor and related systems
- Handle inbound calls and emails for order status, basic inquiries, and general support needs
- Coordinate order details including product specifications, quantities, and shipping requirements
- Ensure all required information is complete and accurate prior to order submission
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to support order fulfillment and resolve basic issues
- Escalate complex customer concerns, exceptions, or potential opportunities to appropriate team members
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and transactions
- Follow established processes, workflows, and quality standards consistently
- Support team needs and contribute to a positive and collaborative environment Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service, administrative, or order entry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort working in systems and managing data entry
- Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
