Kellogg Window & Door Center in Kill Devil Hills, NC is hiring a Service Technician to join the team!
Work Environment:
Kellogg Supply Company is an independently owned and operated building supply company. We strive to provide the best possible service for our customers, while maintaining a safe, rewarding, and fun work environment for our employees. This position will primarily consist of a job site environment.
Primary Responsibility:
Provide maintenance, repair and new installation of and for various doors, windows and related materials
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Install new products and test them to ensure they are working correctly Educate the client on how to use and maintain the equipment Provide maintenance, repairs and customer support Complete detailed reports and records for services performed and/or to be performed Set and demonstrate high standards for customer service Implement and manage timelines for orders Work closely with the other Kellogg Supply team members to provide the best possible customer service and understanding of company procedures and initiatives Actively engage in increasing knowledge of industry, products, customers and sales techniques All other job-related activities assigned by
Supervisor Experience/Skills:
Detailed knowledge of various window and door manufacturers Understanding of door and window assembly and installation Understanding of door and window common warranty issues Understanding of Kellogg Supply Company policies and point of sale system Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to organize work and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and follow-through Basic math and measurement skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Products Proficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus) Compensation is based on experience
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in related field advantageous 2-5 years Building Products sales experience

Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
