About Us Lanvale Animal Hospital is a privately owned and operated small-animal general medicine practice in Leland, NC. We take pride in maintaining a warm, small-town feel while providing progressive veterinary medicine supported by advanced technology. Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, upbeat, highly organized, and team-oriented individual who enjoys working with people and animals to join our reception team. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is required. The ideal candidate understands the unique needs of veterinary clients and patients and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. Our CSRs are often the first and last impression a client has of Lanvale. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, confidence, and genuine care to every interaction while helping keep the hospital organized and running smoothly. Work Schedule Four-day work week, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with consistent day off Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Responsibilities Warmly welcome clients and their pets and create a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Manage a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, answer questions, and appropriately direct or triage calls. Respond to emails and other client inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally . Check clients in and out and process payments accurately. Utilize cloud-based practice management software for invoicing, payment processing, medical records, and other administrative functions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of common veterinary terminology, services, and products to effectively assist clients and support accurate communication and coordination within the hospital. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding appointments, services, estimates, and hospital policies. Work closely with veterinarians and veterinary assistants to facilitate communication, maintain workflow, and provide a seamless client and patient experience. Keep reception areas clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the day. Ensure exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared between patients. Assist with other hospital needs as part of a collaborative team.
