Job Description

As the first point of contact for our clients, the Client Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in shaping the experience of pet owners and their animals. This position blends strong communication and organizational skills with empathy and service. In our community-driven environment, the CSR ensures smooth daily operations of the hospital front office and assists the veterinarian/technician as duties allow.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Communication Greet clients and patients warmly, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email/text regarding appointments, procedures, and follow-ups. Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary/technician staff, clearly relaying information and answering common questions. Scheduling & Appointment Management Schedule and confirm appointments, surgeries, and drop-offs. Optimize appointment slots to balance client needs and hospital efficiency. Proactively manage changes or conflicts in the schedule with professionalism. Check-In/Check-Out & Financial Transactions Facilitate patient intake, including forms and medical history updates. Process payments, provide estimates, and explain invoices to clients. Records & Administrative Support Maintain accurate patient records, client contact info, and appointment logs. Manage prescription refills at the discretion of the veterinarian and communicate with external pharmacies as needed. Assist with hospital inventory intake or front-desk supply restocking. Community & Client Relationships Foster a strong sense of community through client engagement, follow-ups, and educational resources. Support events, awareness campaigns, or social media initiatives as needed. Be an ambassador of our hospital values, advocating for pets and the families that love them.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
