Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Case Management/Call Center Representative to join our healthcare support team for Health East Medical Alliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for providing exceptional client services. In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for patients and clients, managing inquiries related to health insurance, medical records, and healthcare services. Your expertise in call management, data entry, and electronic health records will ensure seamless support and positive experiences for our clients. Duties Handle high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring clear communication and effective call management. Assist clients with inquiries related to health insurance coverage, medical appointments, and healthcare documentation. Maintain accurate data entry within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Support case management processes by coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and necessary documentation for patients. Coordinate with other office locations for verification and scheduling purposes. Apply healthcare knowledge to interpret medical terminology and assist clients with health insurance benefits or claims issues. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly categorized. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while providing empathetic customer service that resolves issues promptly and effectively. Requirements Proven experience in a call center environment or customer service role within the healthcare industry preferred. Knowledge of health insurance policies, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Experience with data entry, analysis skills, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is preferred. Demonstrated professionalism in phone call management, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence. Pay rate is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
