We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy aerospace operation in Little Ferry, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is based on site and focuses on delivering responsive service to customers seeking spare parts, order updates, and related support. The ideal candidate will handle inquiries with professionalism, coordinate with internal teams to keep requests moving, and maintain accurate records in customer service systems.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer questions about spare parts orders, order status, and general service requests in a courteous and timely manner. Prepare and document quote requests, then process approved requests into sales orders as needed. Work closely with internal departments to help ensure parts and related information are delivered on schedule. Investigate parts catalog details and order information to help resolve customer issues accurately. Provide customers with shipping updates and follow through on open requests until completion. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and issues within Siebel or similar systems. Generate routine reports and complete administrative tasks required by the management team. Connect customers with appropriate internal teams or external vendors when additional service support is needed. Participate in customer meetings, trade events, and other business activities as requested. Support rotating or weekend coverage needs and perform additional duties that help meet operational goals. High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience with automated order entry systems and strong data entry accuracy. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with SAP, order entry, sales quotes, and customer support processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers. Excellent organizational, listening, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work effectively on a team. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekend coverage as needed, and lift up to 30 pounds when required.
