Job Description

The Customer Service Correspondence Clerk is responsible for all correspondence paper/electronic lockbox return mail across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Duties include but are not limited to the distribution of mail. Will ensure timely assignment of correspondence/mail to team members. Acts as a liaison to the customer service/collections team while performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related field. Some business experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent telephone skills. Excellent computer skills, preferably including but not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Hands on basic knowledge of the EPIC system. Bilingual English./Spanish a plus. Previous experience in the same or similar capacity in a hospital. Experience in working in a high volume office environment. Customer Service skills.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
