Job Description

Job Overview Pride Chemical is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, handling direct shipment purchase orders, and managing all related documentation with precision and care. Using Acumatica ERP , you'll ensure accurate data entry, timely communication, and exceptional service to our customers and sales team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of support to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter customer orders into ERP , ensuring correct pricing, delivery dates, and product details. Review and validate customer orders, invoices, and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance. Enter vendor purchase orders into Acumatica for direct-to-customer shipments, coordinating timely delivery. Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve order issues and provide real-time updates. Prepare and send product certifications and other customer-required documents in a timely manner. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all customer transactions and communications. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email. Support the sales team with order-related requests and client follow-ups. Track open orders and proactively update customers on order status or delays. Contribute ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and process efficiency. Help train and support new hires in customer service processes and Acumatica use. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, confidentiality, and data protection standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business or supply chain is a plus. 2+ years of customer service or order management experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively under pressure. Solid problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues with professionalism. Familiarity with product certifications, SDS, or industry documentation is a plus. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to customer care. Physical Demands & Work Environment Must be able to work on-site in an office setting and occasionally navigate a chemical distribution facility. Standard shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and office equipment is required.
