Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a positive attitude Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain stock levels on the sales floor through stocking and merchandising efforts to ensure product availability Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or providing information over the phone Support retail store operations by performing basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail environment Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers about merchandise Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Excellent communication skills to engage customers clearly and professionally Knowledge of retail sales techniques, upselling strategies, and merchandising best practices Familiarity with grocery store or retail store product knowledge is advantageous Experience in retail math, cash handling, and cashiering procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions Ability to manage stock levels, assist with inventory organization, and support store merchandising efforts Previous experience in grocery or retail sales environments is preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
