Experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer Bidleman Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer who wants more than just another job. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process Listen carefully to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms accurately Schedule and manage service appointments using Xtime Create and maintain accurate repair orders in Dealertrack Review vehicle history and recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs Explain service recommendations, estimates and completed work clearly and professionally Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines and changes Work closely with technicians, parts personnel and management to keep work moving efficiently Monitor open repair orders and take ownership of necessary follow-up Support customer retention through timely, professional communication Use current and emerging technology to improve efficiency and the customer experience Follow dealership processes while identifying opportunities to make the experience better Help maintain strong customer-satisfaction and CSI results Contribute positively to a team in which employees support and respect one another What We're Looking For Previous automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience is required Strong customer-service, communication and relationship-building skills Proven ability to recommend and sell necessary maintenance and repair services Comfortable using dealership software and learning new technology Strong organization, time-management and follow-through skills Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment Willingness to follow established processes and accept coaching Dependable, accountable and motivated to produce results Positive, team-first approach to working with customers, technicians and coworkers Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Experience Ford dealership or manufacturer experience Previous experience with Dealertrack or Xtime Familiarity with dealership CSI standards Experience managing warranty, maintenance and customer-pay repair orders Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Performance-based commission and bonuses Training and professional development Opportunities for advancement within Bidleman Ford and the Bidleman Auto Group Your Opportunity to Grow This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career.
