Work Environment As a Physical Therapist Assistant at our hospital-based practice, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance. The collaborative atmosphere promotes ongoing learning and engagement with colleagues, making it a fulfilling environment for healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities In your role as a PTA, your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols. Delivering hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to facilitate patient recovery and improve functional outcomes. Providing education to patients and their families concerning prescribed exercises, home programs, and lifestyle modifications to optimize rehabilitation. Monitoring patient progress and documenting findings during therapy sessions to assist the supervising therapist in adjusting treatment approaches as necessary. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services. Implementing trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate myofascial pain syndromes when indicated. Contributing to occupational health initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety and productivity. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a wide array of patients, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be working with patients of all ages, helping improve their functionality and overall quality of life, which enhances our community's health standards. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. A current and active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to continuous learning and skills enhancement. The ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate care throughout their recovery journey. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, previous experience in an orthopedic setting or familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and methodologies will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of
USD 50,000 - 70,000
