- Overview
- : We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-volume call center supporting pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefit programs. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping others, managing a fast-paced workload, and providing exceptional service over the phone.
- Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls (100-150+ calls per day) from clients and customers regarding pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefits.
- Provide outstanding customer service while accurately answering questions and resolving issues.
- Enter and update customer information and detailed call notes in the database during live interactions.
- Follow established call scripts and procedures while maintaining a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Answer, direct, and manage incoming calls in a high-volume call center environment.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, call center, or data entry experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, medical, benefits, insurance, or financial services customer support is a plus.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Job Type & Location
- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Harrison, NY.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
