Job Description
Full-Time | Dental Laboratory We are a growing, high-volume dental laboratory looking for an experienced Dental Lab Technician / Technical Customer Service Specialist to join our customer service team. This is a customer-facing technical position. We are looking for someone who understands dental laboratory terminology, restorations, and case requirements and can confidently communicate with dentists and dental office staff by phone. Responsibilities Speak directly with dentists and dental office staff regarding active cases Answer technical questions related to crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, night guards, and other dental restorations Review prescriptions and case information to identify missing or unclear instructions Communicate shade, margin, occlusion, material, design, implant, and case-related questions Troubleshoot case issues and help determine the appropriate next step Clearly communicate doctors' requests and concerns to our production technicians Follow up on cases and provide accurate updates to dental offices Document calls, changes, and case instructions accurately Help resolve remakes, adjustments, complaints, and other technical concerns professionally Work closely with customer service, production, and management to keep cases moving efficiently What We're Looking For Dental laboratory experience strongly preferred Knowledge of dental restorations, materials, and terminology Previous experience as a dental technician, case coordinator, technical advisor, or similar role is a major plus Comfortable speaking with dentists and dental professionals throughout the day Excellent communication and listening skills Professional, patient, positive, and solution-oriented Strong attention to detail and ability to document information accurately Able to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple cases at once Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of problems through resolution Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you have worked as a dental lab technician but enjoy communicating with people and solving problems. This position is ideal for someone who understands the technical side of dental laboratory work but would like to use that knowledge in a customer-facing role rather than spending the entire day at the bench. We are looking for someone who can build trust with our dental offices while serving as the bridge between our customers and our laboratory technicians. Pay:
