Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and stock replenishment Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting via phone Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Experience working in a grocery store or retail environment is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends and evenings Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while honing your retail expertise!
