Cashier/Customer Service

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and returns Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are appealing and accessible Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and supporting product replenishment Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support team members with supervising tasks when needed, including training new staff or guiding less experienced associates Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for efficient cashiering Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and retail math calculations Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is preferred for understanding store operations Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos enhances overall store presentation This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while delivering top-tier service.
