Upstate Doors, located in Waddington, NY, strives to provide our customers with high-quality products and expert craftsmanship. We provide sales, installation, and service for all types of residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial garage doors, openers and related products. Our team provides 24-hour emergency service to St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties. Whatever our customers' needs may be, our staff looks forward to working with them on their next garage door project. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between our customers, installation crews, and management. You will be the first impression of Upstate Doors with our customers, accelerate cash flow through timely accounts receivable follow-ups, and have all paperwork ready for the Installers for the next day. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy in administrative and warranty tracking.
Requirements:
2+ years experience in customer service, administrative support, logistics coordination, or billing (experience in home services or construction industries a plus). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with CRM/work order software, basic accounting or invoicing tools, and standard office software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace). Ability to identify customer service issues during surveys and escalate them immediately to management for resolution.

$20.93 - $23.00 per hour
