POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our Public Entity team. Successful candidate should have strong decision making skills and attention to detail. The candidate will be responsible for servicing clients, including quoting, requesting and processing new and renewal policies, requesting endorsements, creating proposals, certificates of insurance, binders, premium breakdowns, invoicing, as well as account-rounding and upselling. This role will support the efforts of our agency sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

New York Property & Casualty license preferred or must be able to pass employer-paid state insurance licensing course and exam Prior customer service experience of at least two (2) years High school diploma Strong communication and listening skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Ability to work well independently as well as on a team Focused, productive, and accountable with an attention to detail Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel Ability to learn and become proficient in customer relationship management software
